This is our standard running line for Scandinavian style fly fishing for salmon and large sea trout. This is the running line of choice if you prefer a running line with braided Dacron core and tough and hard coating. This running line is floating, with minimum line memory and is easy to use under all types of conditions. This size is suitable for all types of medium and heavy double handed fly rods (from AFTM 9 and upwards).

Excellent running line with smooth durable finish, I found that it is memory free and is not prone to tangles when casting long lines. I purchased two and have used them extensively during a full season (fishing circa 3 days/week March to Oct) with no problems although the ‘working section’ is beginning to show signs of wear and getting a bit discoloured (is cleaned regularly) but no signs of any cracking. Only downsides are that the lines do not come with ready made loops on either end, so you need to make them yourselves and the colour, the ‘torquoise’ is fairly light and the main shooting head (Rio Hover) I am using is a similar colour and in some light conditions it is difficult to see the joint between the main line and the running line for casting, which can be a nuisance. Competitively priced and overall very pleased with the product would certainly buy again and……….the service from this company is first class…
